You’re a self-motivated, energetic and driven individual looking for your next opportunity to join the Junction team as our Business Development Manager.
Working as part of our Business Development team, you’ll be helping to build a pipeline of new deals to support Junction’s future growth as part of the insurance division.
The role involves working with prospective partners and the wider business to present Junction’s market leading capabilities. Being able to develop strong relationships is a key part of the role alongside qualifying prospects, identifying opportunities and developing creative business proposals. We adopt a consultancy sales model where quickly understanding the prospects business is a hallmark of our proposition.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Group and awareness of Junction in the Affinity and Insurer market. There are some exciting propositions to take to market such as our Direct to Consumer (D2C) model, a developing home strategy, new developments in digital and our exploration of the life market.

What will it take?
It is essential to have someone who is pro-active, excellent at communicating and can easily build relationships who also has an enthusiastic approach to identifying business opportunities and demonstrates strong leadership skills.
You’ll have good commercial acumen and look to build a thorough understanding of the value chain. You’ll be positive, have a good temperament and bring a demonstrable track record in B2B new business development.
You’ll ideally have a broad based knowledge of the insurance market, a good network of contacts and processes and will be able to make recommendations to clients/prospective partners. What we aren’t looking for is a sales person this role is definitely about valued relationships that we build with our partners.
Due to the nature of this role flexibility in location and working patterns is a key requirement.
